The Voice of the World
The fifth edition of "The Voice of the World" - an international singing contest - is already history. This year, we were surprised by the amount of application forms. We hosted 12 schools and 27 competitors. Traditionally, we could hear English, German, ans Spanish in the assembly hall of Complex of Silesian International Schools, but we could also listen to some songs in Polish, Russian, and Japanese! The level is getting higher and higher every year... Our jury had a hard nut to crack. But there can only be one winner. The honourable mentions were: the third place - Marysia from Complex of Silesian International Schools, the second place - Julia from Moniuszko school in Katowice. However, the most beautiful song was "Zakazany Owoc", performed by Zuzia from Complex of Pre-Schools and Schools No 1 in Siemianowice Śląskie. Thanks to all competitors for their participation and to all guardians for their nice comments - they motivated us to wait for the next edition.
