Ladies and Gentlemen,


Due to the change in the legal status regarding the protection of the rights and freedoms of natural persons, in particular the right to the protection of personal data and identity, we are obliged to provide you with information regarding the processing of personal data belonging to students and parents/legal guardians of students, hereinafter referred to as "your personal data".


2On May 25, 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC came into force, hereinafter: General Data Protection Regulation/GDPR /Regulation 2016/679.


Regulation 2016/679 is a legal act which comprehensively regulates all issues related to the processing of personal data. One of the many obligations imposed on the data controller, namely the "Winnie The Pooh" Private Kindergarten in Katowice, Witosa 18 (hereinafter referred to as PPWTP) is to provide relevant information to data subjects.


Considering the above, we would like to inform you that the administrator of your personal data is:

- Private Kindergarten "Winnie The Pooh" with its seat in Katowice, Witosa 18 

- M. Wańkowicz Private High School with its seat in Katowice, Witosa 18 

- PPrivate Kindergarten "Domowe Przedszkole" with headquarters in Katowice, Witosa 23

- Private Junior High School "Complex of Silesian International Schools" with its seat in Katowice, Witosa 18

-  Private Primary School "Complex of Silesian International Schools" with its seat in Katowice, Witosa 18


According to the provisions of art. 37 sec. 1 letter a of Regulation 2016/679, we have appointed a data protection officer who can be contacted by phone: 32 254 91 94 or by sending correspondence to one of the above-mentioned addresses, with the note "DPO". Taking into account the provisions of Art. 28 of the Regulation 2016/676, we can entrust the processing of personal data to entities providing services which are necessary for the current functioning. We entrust personal data for processing to: suppliers of electronic tools supporting the education process, suppliers providing IT support or hosting service providers. In justified cases, recipients of personal data may be entities and bodies to which we are obliged to disclose personal data on the basis of generally applicable law.


Your personal data is not transferred to third countries. We process your personal data on the basis of legal provisions regulating the education system and their provision is mandatory to the extent that we fulfill the legal obligations imposed on us. In justified cases, the processing of your personal data by PPWTP may require consent (e.g. image processing, or in the field of additional activities, other than statutory, carried out by PPWTP).


You have the right to access your personal data and the data of children under your care, rectify them, transfer them, limit processing and delete data, depending on what is the basis for the processing of these personal data. Moreover, you have the right to withdraw your consent in the event that we process data on the basis of your consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body regarding the processing of personal data - the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.


Your personal data will not be processed in an automated manner and will not be profiled.


The period of processing your personal data depends on the applicable law, on the basis of which we perform our obligations. In the case of processing personal data on the basis of consent, this period, if it does not result from applicable law, is determined by us, depending on the actual needs. The length of this period will be communicated to you each time.
