The First Day of Spring in CSIS - "The Rainbow Day"
On March 21st, 2018, students of Complex of Silesian International Schools celebrated the First Day of Spring in the gym by participating in "The Rainbow Day".
First, the organizers greeted all guests and introduced the seven teams wearing symbolic colours of the rainbow. After the presentation, the Coordinator, Ms Cheryl Stachel, was asked to be the Lead Judge during the competition.
In the gym, 7 stations in the colours of the rainbow awaited the students. Thanks to Ms Marta Zemła and Stage 6 pupils, they were beautifully labelled and decorated with posters. Apart from preparing the stations, the students were the co-organizers of the event and the judges - bravo!
All competitors participated actively in the enternatining sports contests, during which they had a lot of fun, laughter, and positive energy.
When the first part finished, the time came for quenching thirst with water and candy. Then, the students took part in a disco. The children were really excited about the music and videoclips.
The second part of the competition were races with the application of various tools.
Ultimately, the three best places were awarded, in the entertainment competitions and in the races. The Headmistress, Ms Jolanta Kałuża, and the Coordinator, Ms Cheryl Stachel, handed all the participants diplomas, and congratulated them.
