Discover Poland: trip to the Silesian Museum and District of Culture

In our School, studying is exciting until the very last day of the academic year! As part of the "Discover Poland" cycle, students from BLG group (accompanied by their older friends from 1DP and 2IGCSE) went to investigate the mysteries of the District of Culture in Katowice. We saw "Spodek" concert hall, International Congress Centre, the seat of The Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra, and a maze which illustrates the history of Katowice. Ms Agnieszka told the students interesting stories from the region, while Ms Asia had to confess why she sometimes had to be scared with "bebok" and "strzyga" as a kid, thus referring to our local legends. The most important part of the trip was a long visit to the Silesian Museum and the view tower. The students went back home delighted with Silesian history and culture. Please feel free to discover Silesia further with us!
