Voice of the World
The 6th edition of the extramural "The Voice of the World" contest took place in the assembly hall of Complex of Silesian Internatioal Schools on Tuesday, May 15th, 2018. 21 participants from ten schools fought for the title of the best voice in the world, in the age category from Grade 1 to 3. It was wonderful to hear all the songs in English, Polish, Russian, German, and Japanese. The decision was hard as always, but the numerous jury (including teachers from each of the schools) decided to grant the first prize to Aurelia from Primary School No 37 in Chorzów, who enchanted everyone with the song "Alleluja". The second prize, for the song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" including drama performance, was granted to Julia from the First Degree State General School of Music in Katowice. The third prize went to Piotr from Primary School No 16 in Siemianowice, who sang "I See Fire", accompanied by his dad on the guitar. We can't wait for the next edition!
