the Night of Explorers

What are vitamins and how to check their content in our food and beverages? How to construct your own radio? How to solve a math puzzle, conduct a physics experiment and explain the effects of a mysterious chemical reaction? How to find a way out of an eerie escape room and cope with difficult riddles? It turns out that it's not that bad! On Friday evening, students from younger classes of "Szkoła Jak Dom" had a chance to learn the secrets of true science during the Night of Explorers, organised by their older mates. Students from grade seven of "Szkoła Jak Dom", junior high school "Amicus" and older classes of "Complex of Silesian International Schools", along with their teachers, invited third graders to participate in a fascinating night adventure with science. Our school building onWitosa 18 was full of energy even late at night, when our younger friends explored the secrets of science on their own, conducted experiments, organised real robots competition, and solved fascinating logical puzzles. Who knows, maybe some future fans of genuine science and Nobel Prize candidates were among the participants of the event? The youngest scientist was celebrating his third birthday yesterday! Well... Leonardo da Vinci, Isaac Newton, Galileo Galilei or Albert Einstein were three at some point, too...
