Science Fair in Amicus
The eighth of June was a very sunny and warm day. Also, it was a great opportunity to show larger and smaller experiments during a science fair, presenting them as games and riddles. That day, Mr Artur Szymanek - the Boss - and science teachers called the whole school community to experience and sense (with all their senses!) knowledge. We could admire experiments with non-Newtonian fluid, a robot, dr Strange experimented with soda and vinegar (wow!), and many, many other fun facts... Bubbles were hovering over the school playground, one of the teams researched acidity of various substances, and the crack of balloons raptuted by carbon dioxide could be heard. Also, there was a fearsome volcano! Optical experiments allowed us to look at the world in a different way. Specialists in the field of living organisms tested how lungs and diaphragm work. Others researched electricity from many perspectives. Some participants, under the banner of Kids' Kitchen, created a real, yummy pizza! Plus, everyone could visit the anatomy stall.
We can't wait to have the next science fair. Bravo to the organizers and participants!
