International Santa Claus Chess Competition
On December 5, an International Santa Claus Chess Competition took place in our school. Its participants were divided into four age groups, and they competed against each other in the "everyone against everyone" system.
The winner from the youngest group was Daichi T, a representative of Stage 1A of Complex of Silesian International Schools. It must be stressed that the winner was also the youngest participant of the tournament. Daichi scored 7,5 points out of 9 possible points.
Franciszek R. from class 1A of Szkoła jak Dom won the second place with the same amount of points.
The third place was won by Kinga K. - 6,5 points.
The winner of the second group was Aleksander B from Stage 3B, who scored 8,5 points out of 9.
The fight for victory lasted until the very last turn. Michał Ż. from class 2A scored just 0,5 point less than the winner. The third place was won by Wiktor B.- 6pts.
The winner of the third group was Akita Daisuke from Stage 4, who scored the maximal amount of points - 10 out of 10! The second place was won by the representative of Stage 5A, Son Yujin- 7,5pts. The third place was won by Lim Jiho from Stage 4 with 5 points.
Spyra Eryk from class 7B was the winner of the oldest group. He won all of the eight turns! The second place was won by Lim Kangho from Stage 6 – 6pts. With the same amount of points, the third place was won by Parma Stanisław from class 5a.

All participants received gifts, and three best participants from each group won fabulous cups and presents funded by the Headmistress.
