Great success of our students at the National English Language Competition
We are pleased to announce that our students achieved spectacular success in the National Junior English Language Competition, organized by the Samuel Bogumił Linde Academy of Foreign Languages in Poznań.
Weronika Kalarus from the "Szkoła jak Dom" school won the title of laureate, becoming the first student of our school to achieve such a prestigious distinction. Also students from the Complex of Silesian International Schools, Emilia Surma and Kalina Krawczak, were laureates of this Competition. It is worth emphasizing that out of 20 laureates from all over Poland, three are our students, which is a reason for great pride!
These achievements are the result of not only the hard work and commitment of the students themselves, but also the professionalism and passion of their supervisor, Mr. Krzysztof Soliński. His support and dedication were crucial in the preparation process for the Competition.
The Competition lasted six months and included advanced knowledge of English, knowledge of the culture and history of Great Britain and the United States, as well as an in-depth analysis of two books: "The Secret Garden" and "The Chronicles of Narnia". Participants had to demonstrate not only language proficiency, but also extensive knowledge of the literature and culture of English-speaking countries.
We sincerely congratulate Weronika, Emilia and Kalina and wish them continued success in their educational path. We are convinced that their achievements will inspire other students to take up challenges and develop their passions.
