Scared of creepy crawlies? Let’s see if we can change your mind!

Bugs can be found in every environment on Earth. Every single day we exist with bugs around us. The number of bugs species is believed to be between 6 and 10 milion. They can be of different size, shape or colour. Some can fly, while others walk on the surface of water. Many insects are considered to be pests by humans. However, bugs are  very important for numerous reasons. Bugs are crucial components of the ecosystem. They are decomposers which help to create the layer of soil that helps plants grow. Burrowing bugs, such as ants and beetles, also pollinate blossoms and dig tunnels that provide channels for water  benefiting plants. Insects have tremendous economic importance. Some bugs  produce useful substances, such as honey, wax, lacquer, and silk. Many of us are so afraid of bugs that we wouldn’t think about the benefits coming from their existence. However, Primary students from the International school took a challenge of changing people’s opinion about bugs. Together with their parents, the  stuents created amazing pieces of art to prove that bugs can be beautiful.  Visitors of the exibition could come and enjoy  a variety of incredible bugs. There were as many as 37 amazing createures and only one could become the winner. Congratulations!
