Animal Week
On Monday, June 11th, we had a very special guest in the Primary Programme - Lego, a nice, black dog from the "Psitulmnie" Animal Shelter in Zabrze (http://www.psitulmnie.pl/index.php). Along with his caretaker, Ms Magda, they explained the reality of shelter animals to the children. Ms Magda told us how to take care of animals properly and how to behave in front of strange animals. Children also practised how to act when confronting an aggressive dog. Fortunately, the experience gained was useless that day, because Lego turned out to be a very friendly dog that enjoyed the company of kids. The guests' visit started the one-week action of collecting pet food, blankets, and toys for Lego's friends from the shelter. Of course, the children did not fail and we could bring a lot of goods there. Thank you on behalf of the shelter dwellers!
