An animal is not a thing
Two students from 2CP class, Grace Estep and Martyna Imosa, won the arts contest entitled "An animal is not a thing", organized by Municipal Culture Centre in Mysłowice and Silesian Botany Garden. The topic was not easy at all, but the girls handled it really well. Not only were their works technically great, but also wise and carrying a significant message.
The contest gave us an occasion to contemplate and discuss how animals are treated nowadays. Apart from the winning works, many other ones are worth paying attention to.
The works will be displayed in two post-contest exhibitions: in Municipal Culture Centre in Mysłowice (open from Wednesday, January 11th at 10AM) and in Silesian Botany Garden.
