A trip to Pszczyna (Pless) - the "Discover Poland" cycle

On May 24th, 2018, students of BLG, 1DP-BLG classes, as well as volunteers from 1IGCSE, 2IGCSE, and 3CP classes participated in a one-day field trip to Pszczyna (Pless). The trip was also the first one in the "Discover Poland" cycle, during which international students have a chance to learn more about the most precious Polish landmarks. Students could personally experience why Pszczyna is also known as "The Pearl of Upper Silesia" or "The Pearl of Princess Daisy". Thanks to the fascinating trip to the Palace Museum and Prince's Stables, they also learnt why the history of Upper Silesia is among the most complex ones in the whole Europe.

We returned to Katowice with heads full of freshly gained knowledge and enthusiasm.

The trip was organized by Ms Agnieszka Juzoń, supported by Ms Aneta Zakrzewska and Ms Joanna Stebel.
