300 meters underground!
Last Friday, senior students of our primary school together with their tutors went on a trip to the Guido Mine in Zabrze. A descent by a real mining elevator to a depth of over 300 meters below the ground and visiting an old adit is an exciting experience for everyone. Our students could also learn about an important part of the history of our region, which is hard coal mining in Silesia. Everyone listened to our guide's stories with interest. Nobody complained that their legs were sore, so the trip was probably very successful. Of course, there was also a pizza ;-)
